it's been a pretty busy weekend for me... and quite a sad one as well...
started off on friday.. well, friday was really fun.. all the mur-z cell groups went for 2 games of bowling... i wasn't any good.. but it was still fun.... travis, ah goh, ann and i were in the same group.. ah goh won for our group, no surprise there.... ann came in second, then it was travis, then me.... yup, i'm that bad..haha... after that, we all made our way down to concas for ah goh's farewell supper.. concas is his favourite place so that's why we had it there.. plus, the atmosphere was really nice... and then everyone gave their farewell speeeches to him... i wasn't sad yet though... haha, i guess it hadnt sunk in yet that he was leaving...
so after that.. we all headed home and rested up for river cruise the next day... it was the fourth river cruise that i was going for and no doubt, i was a tad reluctant to go...but i went anyways... and thank God i did... cos it was the best rivercruise i'd been to...yup yup... met two freshies... they were both from norway.. they were relatively quiet at first.. but then when we started talking.. they loosened up a bit.. so that was good.. their names are Frode and Chris... yup, i know Frode sounds like Frodo... and he's a nice guy.... yup yup...
then after that went for saturday service at UWA.... had dinner after that with alfred, ray, jon chia, darrell and ah goh... man, i never laughed so much in disgust before... honestly, those guys are hilariously disgusting lah... haha....and! i've never seen two guys eat so much before.. alfred and ray just ate and ate and ate.... but it's all good... their appetite was so monstrous, ray actually went to the nearby dewsons and bought a box of ice creams to share with everyone.. ahha... super funny man.. he wanted to buy a watermelon instead.. but i guess he decided against it...
after that went for andy's graduation... havent seen him since early last year and he still looks the same.. yup yup.... took some photos and then it was off for me to ah goh's house cos we were meeting fenny, yeemei and lynn there later... they wanted to have supper with ah goh before he left..yup, so i too took the liberty to spend some time with him...
then came sunday... was super exhausted by the time sunday came... my eyes were hurting so badly... i think cos i didnt sleep enough.... yup.... after service we had lunch and then we went to the airport to send ah goh off... i told myself not to cry... cos i'd be seeing him in singapore anyway.. but i just couldnt help myself... the minute we walked off into a corner to pray for ah goh... i started tearing.. and then when yan jing started praying.. . i just cried... cos i was gonna miss him soooo much.... i told myself to hold it back.... and i did a little... then he went on his rounds hugging people... and then i cried again when he hugged me... yup yup.. what to do.. this is what happes when one of your best friends leave you and go back to singapore for good... there'll be no one here to bring me go eat ice cream.. there'll be no one here for me to call on when im happy or sad... there'll be no one here to fetch me home from school when i'm stranded.. there'll be no one here to call me "boy" anymore.. there'll be no one here for me to buy starburst for ... there'll be no one here to cook me dinner when i study late at school.. there'll be no one here for me to bug anymore.... hmmmmm...
alrightios... i've got emails to send, lectures to listen to, taebo to do, and homework to complete... so i guess that's it for now... take care people.... and God bless!!
