promises for joey and her family

joey, as we sat around last night praying for you, we were all feeling a bit down... we wanted to be there with you, we wanted to cry with you, to laugh with you, and to just listen when all you want is a sounding block... we prayed prayers of faith last night, until in the end, jesse started laughing... and im sure all of us were probably wondering, why's jesse laughing.. and you know girl, we prayed for humour to come into your family, we prayed for joy: for the joy of the Lord shall be your strength. joey, the battle is being waged over your family's life right now, but as we prayed, we saw God showing us to overcome this with the exact opposite spirit. not a spirit of sadness, of little hope, of solemness.. but to overcome this with the spirit of abounding hope, unceasing faith, joy, peace and ultimately, victory. God laughs at the attempts of the enemy because God is so much greater. all these meagre attempts of satan to bring you and your family down are nothing compared to the greatness, and awesome power of God. joey, we claimed promises for you yesterday. and this thing you're going through may seem neverending, it may seem impossible. but joey, God parted the red sea for moses, and we are sure that He will part the red sea for you too. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. His promises will always come to pass. joey, we claim salvation for your parents in Jesus name. we claim healing for your dad in Jesus name. and we claim joy and peace for your mom in Jesus name. joey, rivers of healing is flowing right now. spiritual healing, physical healing or emotional healing, it matters not. because God knows what's best and He will give you the best. joey, ask and you shall receive, before you even start to pray, God knows what you're going to pray for. but only when you pray, the hand of God will move. joey remember when moses and the israelites were standing in front of the red sea, they had no way of crossing it, and their enemy the egyptians were closing in on them, in fact, the enemy was right behind them. but moses had faith, so joey, like moses, you must have faith. moses had faith on behalf of the israelites, the israelites were lost, they didnt know what to do. joey, you have to have faith on behalf of your family. God parted the red sea using the only thing that moses had, his staff. and joey, God will part your red sea with your staff. He will lead you through together with your parents, His sovereign hand will be upon all 3 of you, leading, protecting. He will be surrounding you, back, front, beside, over and under. you will reach dry land. knowing when you will reach doesn't matter, because it is the journey through that brings your faith and trust in God up a notch. rest in His promises and His word because the word is life and the word is Jesus. Jesus will not leave you stranded, He will be there carrying the three of you through this. He knows what you're going through, and He knows how draining it is. but He will provide the strength, joy, peace, faith, hope, love and everything else needed to go through this. Just be strong girl, because all this will come to an end, and you will see that God had a plan afterall. a good plan, a prosperous plan, a plan to bring you to the land flowing with milk and honey. just be still, and know that He is God.

so joey, claim this scripture in Jesus name. it is a promise.
