well, we had church together yesterday..and as it is every year, it was awesome... from the pre- entertainment, to the friends, to the speaker and then finally to the worship... brilliant, absolutely brilliant.. seriously, nothing can ever beat being in the presence of God and His people.. it's just something i would never trade for anything else this world could offer.. we had a prayer time where 4 different people from 4 different generations came up and prayed for their respective generations..and when they came to the generation for my parents, i just knew she would pray for salvation for people of that generation..and she did.. that prayer was really for my parents, so that one day they can know Jesus and His great love... then came the generation that my granny is in... and yup, that prayer was for her as well.. for her salvation...
during worship yest, which was led by hillsongs united...i just went totally nuts... i know, as if im not crazy enough..but yeah, you know what i mean when you're just worshipping in your own words, in your own movements, in your own time and place...? when everything and everyone around you disappears and it's just you and King of kings... yup, that's the kind of experience that keeps me going..knowing that one day i can have it everyday ..
there were fireworks as well...woohoo!! i LOVEEE fireworks.... been like 4 years since i had fireworks happening literally just over my head...so pretty.. i love fireworks... plus i didnt expect it .. it caught me by surprise... soooooooo PRETTTTTTY.....
after church together we went down to northbridge for supper..mmm... i had my bubble tea...yumm, but everyone said my bubble tea was ugly..thanks ah frances.. okie so it didnt look nice but it tastes amazing ok! never try, anyhow say..*slap*
hai and when we were walking back to the car at around 130am.... we heard people shouting in front of us and that's kinda the norm for northbridge..so we didnt think much of it..but what happened next well was pretty traumatising... this guy just walks up to an innocent bystander who's probably in his 40s and punches him twice in the face and knocks him flat to the groun..and the guy didnt just fall like sideways or anything.. his legs flew up from underhim and he slammed down head first and we heard the thud when he hit his head..oh gosh it was sooo scary.... so then the guy who punched him starts walking towards us.. and so we did what any normal person would do, we walked out of the pathway away from the guy and he starts shouting at us asking us why we walked away from him.. well duh... cos we dont wanna get hit by you...so after the guy leaves we went to check on the guy who got hit..and he was just lying on the ground not moving with blood coming from his nose...so jon, who's a first aid person went to go help him.. jon was soo calm through the whole thing..so good man... i on the other hand.. just stood there for 5 minutes..and then had to walk away cos i couldnt take the sight of it...i literally started feeling really dizzy and i felt like throwing up... like what is wrong me!? how many times have i dissected pigs, and dogs and mice and now here is a man whose nose is bleeding and i couldnt take it?! oh gosh, im becoming like my dad... my dad cannot take the sigh of blood at all..as in seriously cant.... but me!? it's my line of work and i can't take it!? argh!!!
ok so anyway... that was yesterday and all that i wanna say....gotta head back to studying now.... 2 exams coming up... i love exams... well, i dont really love studying for them..but i love regurgitating all that ive studied up onto the exam paper...so nice..HAHAHA..
