i was just reading the news on asiaone... and apparently, a man has claimed to have filmed the loch ness monster.. he said he was by the loch when he was filming and that's how he managedf to catch it on film..
when i was over in scotland, we went down to loch ness.. and it was beautiful.. it was magnificent, it was huge.. and it was serene.. plus there was the ruins of a castle next to it.. and as silly as it sounds, i was on the look out for the supposedly mythical creature, nessie.. and guess what?! i thought i saw it, my heart started racing and stuff... but it actually turned out to be a boat. AHAHAHAHA. and then my sister comes to me and says..."ailing i thought i just saw a whale, but it turned out to be a boat..." and prior to this , she had been telling me that one day she wants to go whale watching...
so my hypothesis, is that our minds have this pre conceived idea of what we wanna see. and because of that, it has the ability to alter what is truly before us and then tricking us into thinknig that what we're seeing is indeed what we wanna see when it actually isnt.. geddit? the human brain is very powerful and it does have the ability to help you see what you wanna see, hear what you wanna hear, and protect you from things that would hurt you...
so maybe that's what this man saw through his video cam lens, that pre conceived idea of there being really a monster. but then again, he realyl could've caught it. who's to know till the video is really varified.

i miss scotland. and i will go back one day soon. alone or with friends or my family, it doesnt matter. all that matters is that i AM going back. once i've started working and earned myself some money, i will go.

honours right now is pretty slack cos lab work is in its mundane stages. just testing out the drugs, seeing at what stage they settle at, how much settles there, and recording them down. i dont have to come in everyday so there are times where i just come in 4 days a week. but that happens like once a month. the rest of the time, i come in for the pple here cos they are awesome. teresa is my desk buddy and she's just sooo funny. we help each other understand our work and we laugh, whine, and talk about what's going on. then there's richard, richard's the one we go to especially when we have no idea what we're doing. he's the smartest guy i know and he's super hilarious in a very subtle way. there's also kevin, my fellow singapore. he's such an ah beng but he amuses me and my silly antics. he's finishing his honours so he's always helping teresa and i figure stuff out.
yup, the people here are great. =) i know that's only 3, but 3 is enough.
