ive had such a good day today. =) who knew it would be this good. yay!!
so i went into work today, feeling all stressed because ive got an essay due on friday. and my left ear is now fatter than my right ear. i sit down, get to doing my essay again, go lunch with shelby, go back to work and the sunalene, my supervisor at pmh asks me to go up to her office at 2pm for our weekly meetings. so ok, i go up to her office and then she hands me this tax file number declaration form and says, " ok ailing, i wanna have you on board with us so that when any new dry powder inhalers come in that need testing, you're the person to do it. " so basically, for people who are just a tad slow, she offered me a job there at pmh. and that is freaking awesome. =) then we go on to talk about my honours project and she says all my work so far is excellent, the work is good, time line is good. and then she says.." so what are your plans for the future?" so i told her..and she said.."what do you think of doing your phD and expanding on what you're doing for honours? you should apply for a scholarship and carry on with your phD.." so i told her i'd think about it. by the end of our hour long meeting, im beaming from ear to eat cos im over the moon knowing that my work so far has been going good and she's happy with it. yayness!! so obviously, the first person i told was my dad. and he's happy too. so yay!!!
ok yes about my fat ear. i was sleeping the other day. and my left ear is newly pierced so ive been trying to sleep really carefully. but for some stupid reason, 2 nights ago, my hand was behind my ear and when i moved, i hit my ear with my hand really hard. and the pain was so intense i actually woke up and had like the hardest time going back to sleep. so that day my ear started swelling up and now it's fat. ive been taking neurofen so that's been taking the pain away but it's still swollen. sigh. this sucks. if it still hasnt gone down back to normal by friday, im gonna go back to the piercing place and whine to them. i seirously hope it's fine. oh god, please dont chop my ear off. please. i will look odd with just one ear. and im already partially deaf as it is, if im left with one ear, i'd be so hard of hearing you might has well write everything down. ah!!!
anyways... im still very happy. yayness!!!
i love working at pmh. the work rocks. the people rock. thanks to richard, who so very kindly teaches me everything i know even though i annoy him everyday by singing christmas songs. heheheeheh. =)

anyways, enough about that.
im going home!!! going home for 10 days!! yay!!! im very excited. there's no place like home. =)
i dont have to cook, or wash my clothes, i can see my family and my dog and i can just laze around and not do anything. that is seirously gonna rock my socks off my feet.
