i am anti-social. and i have low tolerance for conceited, irresponsible, dumb and insecure people. i realise that this is a recipe for disaster especially when i start working. it's probably the reason why i have so little friends, so it's a good thing that i don't like crowds.

i have also realised that singapore has many people who lack social etiquette. that gets on my nerves a whole lot.

example 1:

don't stand and block the escalator. if you wanna talk to someone, step away or onto the escalator and continue talking. dude, i'm sure you can talk and walk at the same time. also, if you're unsure about where to go, don't hesitate in front of the escalator, make up your bloody mind!

example 2:

when waiting at a traffic light with a whole bunch of other people, don't barge your way thru especially if you're carry freaking huge paper and plastic bags. the world does not revolve around you.

example 3:

if you're on the bus or mrt, and you're sitting down. don't pretend to sleep or be busy if you see someone who needs the seat more. realise that you should be grateful you can stand. ungrateful asses.

example 4:

don't blast your handphone music, psp game or any other computer game when you're travelling on any public transport. not everyone likes the music you're listening to. there's something called headphones are earphones. use them.

example 5:

if you're sick, go to the doctor, then stay at home. don't go out and spread your sickness. we're not invincible.


i seriously think the singapore govt. should include a "be considerate" campaign to go along with their "speak better english" and "speak better mandarin" campaigns that are currently on.
