so im done with my first week of work. and i am damn damn exhausted. lemme explain why.

my first day was pretty boring cos i had nooooo idea what i was suppposed to be doing. so i sat around reading journal articles. thank god for the amazing creation: the handphone.

anyways, that was pretty much what i did for my second day too and i was beginning to feel miserable and redundant. so i came home, ate dinner, watched some tv, read my book and then went to sleep. at about 12.09am, i get a call from NUH. "hello ai ling, the blood sample from patient ** in ward ** is ready for collection." oh dear god. so yes, i had to make the trip down to collect the blood, bring it back to my lab, and work on it.

i reach home at 2.30am, and set my alarm for 6am. cos i had to go back to collect another set of blood for testing. so i stayed at work till 1pm, came home, slept for a bit and went back to the lab collected the 3rd blood sample, processed it,and took a cab into town to meet my babies: a.k.a, audrey and rachel.

ended up leaving town at 12 plus, but it was so worth it. :) and then it's a friday and im at work, looking forward to 7.30pm. cos yes, i ended work that late yesterday.

so today is saturday, and i am loving it.
