for those who know me well, know that i love my grannie heaps. she was a million miles away in Scotland, but distance didn't matter. my grannie was the coolest, most independent, prettiest, vainest, strongest, most generous, smartest and most loving woman i have ever known. she is my hero.

december 17th 1929, the best day there ever was. her birthday.

so december 17th, Scotland time. i got a tattoo in memory of her and the impact she's left in my live. the memories she's given me and the smiles and laughter we shared was never hindered by the distance between us.

i love her like a fat kid loves cake.
