so it's already thursday... this time last week, i was watching the sleep over club..and just yesterday, i saw a girl that looked like one of the girls in the sleepover club...hmm..the irony of it all.. had children's theatre yesterday... i know, i'm doing the unit again.. but this time, i'm doing it as an ISC (Independent Student Contract)... so it's technically different... the workshop today was pretty overwhelming.. there was soo many people... i reckon there were 50... and they were all split into 2 distinctive groups... one group consisted of the people from the advanced production...and the other group was of people doing ISC, Honours and phDs..... it wasn't easy bonding with everybody... but it's all good...
i havent been doing much these past few days... been spending a lot of time of home and i like it... the quiet warmth of my room is absolutely charming... ok fine, so perhaps the warm part isnt at all appealing.. but i do find satisfaction in cooping myself up at home and just doing what needs to be done like reading my readings, and getting myself geared up for upcoming assignments....
even though things seem rather mundane, i have made a large number of friends.. on sartuday, i made 5 new friends...3 from japan, 1 from hong kong and the other from malaysia.. i even met someone who was given the most marvelous name of Ai Ling as well..amazing isnt it.... and then on monday.. i made 2 new friends....both from singapore... one called travis jayson.. and the other called marian... marian is sheryl's friend from mgs...and then yesterday, i made 3 new friends.. all three on the land down under....
hmmm.. sheryl stayed over on sunday night and then we made our way down to uni to kick start the new school year for me.. sheryl of course was just crashing my lectures... and, she even wrote me a story in one of my lectures.. yes, that was how bored she us.. and no, sheryl being bored does in no way stipulate that my lectures are boring... sheryl and i are just interested in different things... hehe.... her story was about 2 frogs.. but i sensed a tiny bit of plagarism... =) when classes ended, we qued up in the never ending queue at the bookshop and finally made it out with the books in hand... didnt cost as much as i thought they would... 80 plus dollars.. i'm quite pleased..=) yayness!
we met ah goh after that for a little bubble tea... yum... but it was so fulling i thought i was going to implode... i could barely move... ok fine so im exaggerating.. i could move, and i didnt implode... that's why they say feelings cheat people.. cos you may feel something but it aint gonna happen.... such liars these feelings...
and after that traumatic incident with the bubble tea, we came back and did some taebo..mmm, it totally used up all that bubble tea cos i felt light and skinny again.. hha...notice i said felt, and what did i say about feelings? they cheat! yes they do... hmmm...
then we ate dinner and ah goh came to send sheryl home... so ah goh and i ended up hanging around sheryl's place for a bit... taking wacky photos and videos... oh the memories a photo holds... priceless... absolutely pricelesss....
